In the manufacture of TOPLINE lathes, MEEHANITE is used, a special cast iron alloy that offers significantly better rigidity than traditional cast iron. This MEEHANITE alloy provides wear resistance, lasting accuracy and very high stability. The beds are inductively hardened and ground. The TOPLINE lathe's cross spindle runs through a bath of oil, which pays off in a longer lifespan. The bronze nuts are made of phosphor bronze, which makes them last a long time. The lathes in the TOPLINE range are equipped with SKF bearings 3 times. This results in extremely high precision, a long lifespan, a very high stability and a large load capacity.
